In the group exhibition same same but different, all program artists of the Evelyn Drewes | Galerie and galerie burster enter into a joint dialogue for the first time. The exhibition brings together 23 artists whose works cover a broad spectrum of contemporary art - from painting and sculpture to performance and conceptual works.

The title of the exhibition deliberately alludes to the idea of similarity and difference. The works presented often share certain formal or thematic points of departure, but move in different directions in terms of expression and interpretation. This dialectical tension between similarity and divergence characterizes the exhibition and opens up new perspectives on the relationship between repetition and variation.

same same but different not only offers an overview of the work of the participating artists, but also represents an experiment in curatorial interaction in which boundaries between galleries, artists and works are dissolved and redefined. In this exhibition, an interaction of artworks unfolds that focuses on the facets of contemporary art.
