Since 2008, the Drewes | Gallery in Hamburg has been showing contemporary art with a focus on painting. The gallery supports emerging artists and promotes them beyond the current trends of the art market. Young positions are given the opportunity to explore and implement technical and aesthetic concepts. The cooperation of the gallery with art schools enables the discovery of young artists and the resulting exhibitions.

The Lab is a dynamic addition to the exhibition concept. Parallel to the gallery program, we offer artists a platform for innovative and experimental work.

Since 2025 the gallery operates under the name Drewes | Galerie. We are delighted to welcome Kristian Zrno as the new gallerist in Hamburg. Jördis Tresse will support him with her expertise and, together with him, bring new impulses to our Hamburg location. Evelyn Drewes will focus on establishing the Berlin branch. Together, we are shaping an enhanced gallery program that strengthens the connection between contemporary art and thoughtful mediation.
