Michael Peltzer opens his record case and presents his new series of pictures. The record covers of classics shine in new splendor through his typical technique and are thus elevated by him to iconic status. Already in his younger years the artist was a big fan of vinyl, a passion and fascination he did not give up so quickly - until today he collects records and mixes up the Cologne nightlife as a DJ. In his new works he presents a small cross-section of pop culture - four decades from the Beatles to Dr. Dre - these hits should not be missing in any record store. Connecting the canvases to their original is the title, which refers to the catalog numbers of each record. Let's boogie!
