Evelina Reiter (born 1998) lives and works in Berlin. In her current work, explores the city as a social stage and as a site of her personal experiences. Femininity, belonging, security, money, desire, and freedom are her themes. Large-format urban scenes and intimate perspectives condense everyday experience into painterly situations in which confrontation and retreat, as well as reality and perception, intertwine. Painting thus becomes a space of freedom and a place where she can escape the metropolis.
